Bon Voyage, Grace!

Grace (or Grasya as I sometimes call her; some calls her Paying or Ying) is my college classmate. She's now based in SG. She works in a Korean restaurant as an Assistant Outlet Manager. FYI, she is our "bridge". Hihi!

After a week of vacation here in Pinas, Grace will be flying later to SG. Despite the heavy rain and flood, we went to their house last night and had some kwentuhan and kainan. She prepared Pansit, Mixed Veggies, Maja Blanca, and my ever favorite Buttered Shrimp. ^_^ And oh, thanks for the big bar of Toblerone! She knows my favorite. Haha!

Grace, have a safe flight later! See you on December. :)

Thank you and God speed, Grace! :)

New found friends!

It's weekend again! Its already past midnight and I just came home from a super nice bonding with le boyf and his friends. We went to Miles' place and
I took a screenshot of Miles' FB version of "shake hands" haha!
I get the chance to shake hands with her personally na haha! ^_^

I must admit I'm a little bit shy when BF introduced me and Miles. Well, she's pretty and very nice. She's a mom of two. Yuan, her first baby who will turn two this year, is a very cute boy. He is charming and not shy whenever his mommy asks him to pose like the contestants of "Mr. Pogi". Her second bundle of joy, Yuna, will be turning two months. Pinabuhat sakin ni Miles si Yuna and I admit, hindi na ako marunong kumarga ng baby! Nakakatakot hehe! But it's really a nice feeling 'cause I loooove kids so much! Her babies are oh so cute! How I wish that time, sana we have our own little Faye and little Ber. Haha!

I met Tata one midnight before I went home from work. So I'm more at ease with him. Whenever you talk to him, you'll laugh with the way he talks or just a simple facial expression will definitely make you smile. He is makulit hehe! Well, Tata is BF's very close friend. They were already best of friends since they were kids. According to BF, they share almost everything. From the happiest days of their lives up to the darkest.

Marjorie was my schoolmate in college. I know her by her name. Nothing more than that. I was a bit uneasy when we were introduced to each other 'cause from 4 years of being schoolmates, I can't remember if we talked. Not even a single "hi!". Haha kaya medyo dyahe lang.

It was indeed a great feeling to finally meet the important people in his life. Hindi lang ako nagkaron ng mapagmahal na boyfriend but I also gained friends! Thank You, Lord!

From (L) to (R): Miles with baby Yuna, Papa Ber, me, Tata and Yuan
See how I stare at Yuan's reaction? He's so cute! ^ ^
Update:
A few minutes ago, Grace PM'ed me in FB (she is our "bridge", by the way!). She'll be coming home soon this September! I'm more excited hehe! I can't wait to have more bonding moments with her, BF and my new found friends. :)

Starbucks Happy Hour: Half Price Frappuccino!

Its summer! And so Starbucks has their own way of beating the heat!

From SB Philippines' Facebook fan page

Me and my friend Andrea finally had the chance to experience this pakulo of SB last May 7 before going to work. We went to their branch in Blue Wave, Pasay, which is the nearest SB store from our office. Good thing there were only few people in the counter when we entered the store. I always order my favorite Chocolate Cream Chip but I wanted to try their new blended bev Mocha Cookie Crumble. How much did it cost us? Only Php 92 each and that's already venti! ^_^

Before going to work
I did enjoy my thrifty drink. But I personally observed these things:

1. Medyo tunaw ang frap ko and my friend's. :( Naubusan na yata sila ng ice.
2. They forgot to give tissue to my friend. We called the barista's attention twice pa for just a piece of tissue. Tsk tsk!
3. The same barista isn't smiling. I have been to several SB stores and I admire how the baristas manage to keep their smiles all day. It's my first time to encounter a not-so-happy barista.
4. The place is too small. They should not put tables and chairs near the counter. It gets really crowded.

Anyway, it's not a bad experience after all. With my favorite frappuccino for half the price? Priceless indeed! Gals and guys, we got three more Mondays til their promo ends. My friend and I will make sure not to miss these three Mondays. Great way to start my week! :)

Store AddressPres. Diosdado Macapagal Blvd. corner EDSA Extn. Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines

My Ratings (0 as the lowest, 10 as the highest)

* Customer Service: 7 for the 2 guy baristas who took my order, but I have to deduct 2 for the not-so-happy barista. So, its 5.

* Product: 5 (MEDYO TUNAW)

* Location: 7
