Day 9: A picture of what's in your bag

I always carry big bags whenever I go to work or hang out with my friends kasi I bring things na hindi ko naman nagagamit. Sakit ko na yata haha! But lately, I took out some things which I think I don't need.

And here's the result! :p

This one makes me laugh! They were about to do the 'jump shot' pero dahil sa kakulitan ng mga kiti-kiting ito eh ayun ang pinsan kong si Maan! Humampas ang mukha sa pader! Hahahaha! She's kawawa. Kulang na lang magmarka sa pader ang mukha nya. :))

Day 5: A picture of your favorite memory

I was actually thinking what to post on my Day 5 entry for the challenge. Its really hard to choose which of all the memories I had is the perfect one for this post.

Out of nowhere, a good friend of mine, Aileen, popped out of my mind. She just gave birth months ago. Today is her baby Athalia's christening. Unfortunately, for some not-so-good reason, I was not able to come. And because of that, I miss her. I miss Aileen.

Aileen Tan, or "Lyntot" as I fondly call her, was my HS best friend. We share the same type of music. She's a Westlife fanatic while I love A1. I can't go to school knowing that she's gonna be absent. I'd rather stay at her house and be with her than attend classes without her. We have shared plenty of memories together. Life, love, family and even our firsts! Sadly, on our senior year, her family has to move to North Caloocan. Almost 2 hours drive from our place. But our friendship doesn't end there. We communicate through letters, texts and in any way possible. She's not only a friend to me but a sister. :)

Aileen is a perfect example of a dreamer. A simple girl full of hopes and dreams who (ehem..) loves coffee! ^_^ She strives harder to reach the top. She's also the most frugal person I've known haha! I bet she will disagree. But hey, you are more matipid than me!

We've been bestfriends since we were 15 years old. And I am sure we will still be friends for the next 15 years (times 5!) nyahaha! I love you and I miss you, Lyntot! See you on the 12th. Am gonna visit Athalia! Yey! :)

Day 4: A picture of yourself and a family member

Meet my sister, Joy. She's now 18 years old and the third among us 5 siblings.

So, why did I choose her for my Day 4 picture challenge?

I am closer to her than my other siblings. :)

* Joy is a joy to the family.

* She is indeed mabait.

* She loves pink.

* Very sweet, caring, madaling utusan, and laughs easily sa mga trying-hard jokes ko!

* She likes kissing me the least I expect her to kiss me. As a result, lagi ko sya natutulak and she'll just laugh! Ang babaw but funny! ^_^

* She laughs LOUDER than me!

* She's mommy-look alike. :)

Every payday, I see to it that I have something for my little sissy, like girly stuffs or a treat at any resto she likes. :)

Day 3: A picture of the cast from your favorite show

I'm not really into watching series. But this one got me!

I was in high school when I first watched 7th Heaven. The show starred Stephen Collins as Eric Camden, who was a Protestant Pastor, his wife Annie (Catherine Hicks), their children Matt (Barry Watson), Mary (Jessica Biel), Lucy (Beverly Mitchell), Simon (David Gallagher), Ruthie (Mackenzie Rosman) and twins David (Lorenzo Brino) and Sam (Nikolas Brino).

Why I liked it? Because the story is so light. The characters portrayed so much about family, life and love which happens on a daily basis of a normal person. You get entertained yet you get to learn from the lessons, too.

7th Heaven first aired last 1996 and ended on 2007.

Day 2: A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

Who else? :)

Meet the original Taray Queen, (I'm her copycat! :p) Arleen Serrano-Lim, or Len.

Well I bet you'd ask why her and not my dad. Or why not both. Simply because aside from the fact that I have been living with my parents for 26 years already, my mom carried me in her womb for nine months. :p

* When she's in the mood of pangungulit, even when I am in my deep slumber, tatabihan nya pa ako and kikilitiin just to wake me up! 

* Very sweet pero sometimes very masungit. Ooopss lagot ako haha!

* Mahilig maglinis ng bahay -- ang hindi ko namana sa kanya! :p

* A strong woman of God. 

* My beautiful and loving mommy who cooks the best spaghetti and caldereta (at least for me!).

My day's not complete without mom. Hmm, parang ayoko na tuloy bumukod ng bahay ah! :))

Day 1: A picture of yourself with 15 facts

I will share to you 15 facts about me that I think I haven't shared to any of my closest friends. Hmm well, I'll try my best hindi sumablay! :P

1. According to my mom, my original name was Mary Roleen. Haha I know it's funny but it's dad's and mom's combined names. RO for Robert and LEEN for Arleen. (I dunno if Mommy was just joking about that but I super thank them they wrote Mary Faith on my birth cert. :p haha!).

2. I have tons of nickname given by my mom whenever she wants to make lambing. Ate panganay, Pompey, Peypey, Popochey (which was according to my mom, was my favorite word when I was a kid and until now no one knows what that is!), etc. I forgot them na haha!

3. I really treasure my 18th birthday. Kasi my debut was April 4, 2004. It is 04-04-04, which we all know that it only happens every after one thousand years. I even asked the venue designer to make sure that the "04-04-04" is bigger than my name. LOL! Until now, I am so proud whenever I make kwento about that.

4. I am a bookworm! Err, well I used to be one. I can stay up all night reading gradeschoolers' books though I am 17 years old na. I would usually go to my cousins' house and make kalkal over their bookshelves. How I wish I could make up for lost time with my dear books. Busy na kasi!

5. I am a frustrated singer. Everyone knows that! But not everyone knows I am a frustrated dancer haha! I remember one Christmas eve where my dad and mom asked us 5 siblings to dance in front of them to the tune of Bayani Agbayani's Otcho-Otcho and Sexbomb's Spaghetti. Aww nakakahiya langs! Like being a frustrated singer, sa banyo lang din ako sumasayaw while taking a bath. :p

6. I learned cooking at the age of 10. Yep, I was that brave! Hindi ako takot magbukas ng kalan kahit bata pa ako. I personally believe that a good cook doesn't have to taste the dish. Sa aroma pa lang, alam na.

7. If given a chance to work as a nurse, I want to serve poor people. Tunog pageant ba? Haha, its true. I remember I had a conversation with mom. I said I want to go to provinces where people needs help the most. Yun lugar talaga na hindi naaabot ng tulong ng gobyerno. Ewan ko ba, I have a heart for these people.

8. I admire beautiful weddings. I have now my list of wedding suppliers, wedding songs, wedding theme and everything I needed for my own wedding! I know I'm bright lol! To my future husband, you're lucky I will be your wife. Kumpleto na ang lahat, financial support na lang ang sa'yo nyahaha!

9. I used to say that I want to get married at the age of 20. That's when I was 15. Now, I really wanted to settle down by the age of 28. Mag eenjoy muna ako sa payslip ko! LOL!

10. When I am really happy, I laugh sooooooo loud with matching tears pa!

11. Remember the "Rejoice for kids commercial"? Well, hindi ako yun. Good thing! But I auditioned for that! Kakahiya! I was always noticed by people because I have a very long hair and (ehem..) kasi I am pretty! Sabi ni mommy haha!

12. When I was a kid, I remember we went to ABS CBN to audition for SinesKwela. I honestly did not know why we're there! When it was my turn, I did not speak! Another kakahiya moment! I was also spotted by a talent scout at Star City, and asked mom if I could do modelling. While they were talking, I was playing and was not interested. Haha sayang eh di sana star na din ako! LOL! :p

13. I used to be a bully. Nuff said.

14. I wanted to try different jobs. I already worked as a Service Crew, Sales Coordinator, Management Trainee, UK Student Visa Processor, Medical Representative, Web Designer, Event Coordinator, Web Writer, and now, a CSR. Whew! So what's next? :p

15. I am madaldal pero depende sa mood. Ansabe? Haha. When I am in the mood of kadaldalan, kahit natutulog ka na, I will wake you up just to share what happened to me kahit na ages ago pa yun haha! But when I'm iritable, kahit kausapin mo ako, I will just make hand gestures hahahaha! Oh well, I am proud of myself (but in a positive way huh!).
