Happy Birthday, Daddy!

I know it's one of my super late posts, but whatever! Better late than never, right? :p

Last September 3, we celebrated Dad's birthday with my family, lola, lolo and Papa Ber. We had a surprise dinner at Kamay-Kainan, Trinoma Mall since my dad always wanted to dine at any eat-all-you-can restos . I have work from 4pm til 12mn but I decided to have my leave so that I could go with them.

Me and Papa Ber left home first to buy cake and confirm the reservation. I initially planned to buy at Red Ribbon. But unfortunately, they sell very few choices of cake. So we opted Goldilocks instead. We bought their Double Dutch Round cake, my dad's favorite flavor.

After placing our order at Goldilocks, we went to Kamay-Kainan and checked if they really have their 20% off promo from 6:30pm onwards. Their normal rate per person is Php 289.16 only. Upon confirming, I asked one of their staffs to reserve seats for 10 persons. We took advantage of their 20% off hehe! I also asked if we can bring the cake inside the resto. Pwede naman daw, but hindi pwede kainin dun. Or else we have to pay Php 500 for the corkage fee. No way! Mas mahal pa yung corkage fee kesa sa cake??

My family came before 6:30pm. We had some picture taking first, kwentuhan at kulitan. After that, buffet table, here we come! :p Sadly, I didn't get the chance to take a picture of the buffet table. But they serve a variety of dishes, mainly Filipino foods. They have Pork Adobo, Pork Binagoongan, Menudo, Pansit Bihon, Lumpiang Shanghai, Lechon Manok, Sinigang na Hipon, Inihaw na Hito, Itlog na Maalat, Corn Soup, Tokwa't Baboy, Pinakbet, Laing, Bopis, etc. They also have their Dessert Section: Ginataang Halo-Halo, Minatamis na Saging, Fruit Cocktail, Brownies, and many more.

I was still suffering from GERD (or Heartburn) that time so I didn't enjoy the foods that much. And I am not a fan of eat-all-you can restos. Konti lang ako kumain. But I am gaining weight easily. U-N-F-A-I-R! :( Isinuka ko lahat ng kinain ko. Hinay hinay kasi dapat, naexcite ako masyado haha! :p

Although I did not enjoy the eat-all-you can experience, I'm already happy seeing my loved ones having a great time. Lalo na si Daddy! :)

It was indeed a great experience. Family + Superb foods + Laughter + Bonding moment. It's priceless! :)

My 26 Hopes

I learned from an English teacher that the word "WISH" is for some things that might not happen. And we use "HOPE" for things that are likely to happen. And since I did not post any on my exact day, let me share it to you now and use what my 5th grade teacher taught me. Now, here's my 26 HOPE-list! :)

1. I HOPE that Mommy will stop yelling at me when waking me up. She gets really annoyed and calls me tulog-mantika.

2. I HOPE that my neighbors who plays BINGO all the time (whoever they are!) will stop shouting like every minute 'cause its driving me nuts! Gggrrr!

3. I HOPE to have a pair of reaallllly good shoes. I don't even remember the last time I bought one.

4. I HOPE to have a keyboard. I mean, a musical instrument! I've been eyeing this thing since February.

5. I HOPE I can attend one of those Zumba classes. LOL! It's not impossible! I'm not that lazy, after all!

6. I HOPE I can lessen my carbs intake. I'm gaining weight! Again! *sigh*

7. I HOPE I can travel to at least one place here in Pinas. Anywhere in Visayas or Mindanao. Lagi kasi nauudlot ang plan since January! :(

8. I HOPE I can spend more time watching the sunset. Oh beautiful!

9. I HOPE to be more matipid!

10. I HOPE to be more matipid!

11. I HOPE to be more matipid! Did I say it thrice already? Oh well.

12. I HOPE I can give my Manila Ocean Park gift to my lolo and lola this May. Hindi kasi kami magkasundo sa time ng sister ko e.

13. I HOPE I can still find time to read Sophie Kinsella's novels. I just love how she tickles my funny bone with her every story.

14. I HOPE to always remember to bring an umbrella when raining. Sigh, I always get really wet all over when it rains.

15. I HOPE to eat in Red Crab at G3 and have very nice whole body massage one of these days. I soooo love seafoods and relaxing ambiance!

16. I HOPE to have more time with friends and lesser time with work. Seriously.

17. I HOPE I can watch a movie at least one a month. Obviously, in a movie house!

18. I HOPE to meet new friends now that I'm out in the bloggers' world! Again!

19. I HOPE to have more time with blogging.

20. I HOPE I can be more patient with rude people. I am becoming super mataray lately.

21. I HOPE people will stop asking me why I don't have a boyfriend. People, its not that I do not want to have one. I just don't feel it yet. But please read Hope-list # 22.

22. I HOPE and pray that whoever God wants for me, He will give him to me at the right time. When everything's ready. Lord, burger with cheese ang gusto ko ha! :D

23. I HOPE that God will always keep me and my family safe, guard us from all evil and keep us healthy so that we can still have more time to share His blessings to others.

24. I HOPE I can still spend my special day with poor children. I'll do it on my 27th birthday.

25. I HOPE I can still spend many more birthdays with my family and friends.
